How the waiting list works
Dynamic QR codes cannot be booked yet. Enter your email address and confirm it with the link in our email. Once it starts, we email you, plus at most one reminder. This does not sign you up for a newsletter.
Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing. You can leave at any time with the link in every email. You see the price and the terms before you book.
Statistics without cookies
The redirect sets no cookies, loads no JavaScript and recognises no one. For each code and day we store only the number of scans with country, device class and operating system. No IP address, no browser fingerprint.
For your readers that means no cookie banner and no waiting. Details are in the privacy policy.
Protection against abuse
Before a new target goes live, we check it on our own server against public blocklists of known phishing, scam and malware sites. The lists are updated several times a day and all targets are checked again regularly. No target address is sent to third parties for this. Until the check is done, the code shows the page "This QR code is being checked".
Anyone can report a code on the short address. We block dangerous targets. That keeps the domain clean, so browsers and scanner apps trust it.

Can I change the target after the book is printed?
Yes, that is the whole point. The printed code only holds the short address; the target is stored with us. A new target is checked briefly and then applies to every copy, including the first print run.
What data about the people scanning is stored?
Nothing that identifies a person. For each code and day we count scans with country, device class and operating system. No cookies, no IP address, no JavaScript. More in the privacy policy.
How is this different from the free QR code generator?
The free QR code generator writes your link straight into the code and is available today. That code never expires, but it cannot be changed after printing and counts no scans. A dynamic code goes through the short address, so you can change the target and see the statistics.
